Members of the JSA, having fought and lost to a “god” called Stalker, find themselves in Scotland, at a secret military base. It may contain the key to defeating Stalker. But then a traitor named Jensen appears. He’s there to absorb the diseases stockpiled there, for that is this facility’s secret: germ warfare! When Hootie, Dr. Mid-Nite’s owl, is terminally infected, Hourman saves him with Miraclo, and he attacks Jensen, who falls into a chemical vat. The world is safe… or is it? No! As the two heroes discuss their victory, Doctor Occult appears to tell them that the world is still in danger, and to give them a chance to help avert that!
